How could you use the family structural theory to determine if a family is dysfunctional or not?

A family is considered to be dysfunctional when conflict, misbehavior, and often child neglect or abuse occur continually and regularly, leading to members to accommodate such actions as been normal. This usually goes from generation to generation until something is done to convert these actions.
