1.Discuss the current patient safety characteristics used by your current workplace or clinical site. Identify at least three aspects of your workplace or clinical environment that need to be changed with regard to patient safety (including confidentiality), and then suggest strategies for change.

3Let’s shift our focus to inflation. What is inflation? What is the difference between demand-pull and cost-push inflation? Have you seen any evidence of increased inflation where you live?How is inflation calculated?

4.So, who decides if our economy experiences a recession? What are some of the indicators looked at to make this decision? Why doesn’t the President or his economic advisory panel decide?

5.Why can GDP be defined as all goods consumed or all goods produced in a year? Why is it necessary to make the distinction of “final” goods in the definition of GDP?

6.A few years ago, we were given a tax rebate that basically gave taxpayers a check in the mail. The purpose of this rebate was to stimulate the economy. Explain this using the definition of GDP. What segment is being influenced? Would the rebate be effective if everyone put this check in a savings account? More recently, the government implemented a stimulus plan, which included government spending on various projects. How did this impact GDP?
