Discuss how global social and economic pressures affect medical practices. Instructions  Read Holtz, Chapter 16: “Global Perspectives on Environmental Health” pp. 409–426  Choose one of the following: air pollution, water pollution, or food pollution.  Design a 1-page flyer/handout about the specific pollution and its effect on health and prevention.  It should be geared towards high school students. Be sure to include: explanation of the type of pollution you choose, its effects on health, methods of prevention, and include your references.  When you are done, submit it in the Dropbox. Requirements  This Assignment should be 1 page in length, include a reference and be designed for high school students.  This Assignment may use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher®. Please be sure to download the file “Writing Center Resources” from Doc Sharing to assist you with meeting APA expectations for written Assignments. Submitting Your Work Put your responses in a Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher document. Save it in a location and with the proper naming convention: username-CourseName-section-Unit 4_Assignment.doc Unit 4 [HW215: Models for Health and Wellness] (username is your Kaplan username, section is your course section, and 4 is your unit number). When you are ready to submit it, go to the Dropbox and complete the steps below: 1. Click the link that says “Submit an Assignment.” 2. In the “Submit to Basket” menu, select Unit 4: Assignment. 3. In the “Comments” field, make sure to add at least the title of your paper. 4. Click the “Add Attachments” button. 5. Follow the steps listed to attach your Word document.
